Namowicz first contacted Fugitive Watch about one month ago and informed us he has been hiding out in Mexico for many years and expressed his desire to end his life as a fugitive and surrender to U.S. authorities. He said he was in Mexico and wanted to know if we would help him arrange for his safe surrender. We agreed and began making the appropriate contacts to arrange for his surrender. One of the agencies we contacted was the U.S. Marshal’s Service and they agreed to help us. The Marshal’s Service has informed us that thanks to our assistance they were able to locate Namowicz in Guadalajara, Mexico and to peacefully take him into custody.
Nicolas Reyes Namowicz was wanted by the Santa Clara County DA’s Office for an alleged gang-related murder and attempted murder in 2013 in San Jose, California. They report that Namowicz is allegedly associated with West Side Mob (WSM) and was known to carry weapons.
