New Photos Release in Unsolved Murder of Manuel Romero in Alameda County

The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office released new digital surveillance photos this week in an effort to get the public’s help in solving a homicide that occurred in unincorporated Hayward a year ago.

Sheriff’s deputies who responded to a report of a shooting in the 2100 block of Hill Avenue at about 10:20 p.m. on July 8, 2017, found 19-year-old Manuel Romero suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Sheriff’s officials said they believe the suspects in the fatal shooting fled in a Toyota Yaris made between 2012 and 2014 that had rear tinted windows. Investigators said they don’t know the identity of the suspects and descriptions of them are vague. But sheriff’s officials said they are asking people to look at the digital photographs to see if they can identify the suspects or their vehicle.

If you know the names of these suspects.
