Isaiah Taylor Arrested for Alleged Possession of Handgun in Fairfield

Officers arrested a Fairfield man on Thursday on suspicion of possession of a loaded handgun, police said. Isaiah Taylor, 18, of Fairfield, was arrested and booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of several felonies, according to police.

Officers on foot patrol in the parking lot of 1910 Grande Circle saw three people in a parked vehicle who appeared to be using illegal narcotics around 6:50 p.m., police said. The officers searched the vehicle and found a loaded .40 caliber Glock semi-automatic handgun with a high-capacity, 22-round magazine, according to police. The officers arrested Taylor on suspicion of possessing the firearm.
