Santa Rosa police arrested a man inside a credit union after he allegedly failed to yield to a traffic stop late this morning. Igor Yatsenko, 42, of Santa Rosa, stopped in the parking lot of the Community First Credit Union at 501 College Ave. around 11:50 a.m. after he avoided the traffic stop, police said.

Yatsenko allegedly failed to follow commands outside and inside the credit union and took a fighting stance against the officers who followed him inside, police said. He allegedly tried to strike an officer and was shot with a Taser and taken into custody, according to police.

After a medical evaluation at a hospital, Yatsenko was booked in the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of resisting arrest, violating probation and failing to yield to a traffic stop.
