Serial Bank Robber Wanted for Different Banks in the East Bay

Police are looking for a serial bank robber who’s hit four different banks in the East Bay this month. Police say this man robbed Chase Banks in Richmond, Emeryville, Oakland, and Berkeley. In each case, he walked to up to the teller and handed them a note demanding money. The first robbery happened on March 10. Just after 3 p.m., a suspect walking into the Chase Bank located at 12121 San Pablo Avenue in Richmond.
After handing the note to the teller, the suspect stated that he was armed, according to police. The suspect robbed the bank of an undisclosed amount of cash and fled out of the building. Three days later, on March 13, the same suspect robbed the Chase bank branch in Emeryville. On March 16, police believe the same man robbed a bank in Oakland.
Then, on March 19, he robbed the branch in Berkeley, police said. The Richmond Police Department, Oakland Police Department, Emeryville Police Department, City of Berkeley Police Department and the FBI are collaborating in this joint investigation The suspect appears to be an African American male in his 20s or 30s, 6’1” tall, thin build with an unshaven face.
