Suspect Arrested at BART Station After Allegedly Breaking Windows at Washington Hospital

Police arrested two people late Saturday or early Sunday following an alleged sideshow in the greater Santa Rosa area, police said.

At 11 p.m. Saturday, police saw several vehicles thought to be involved in the sideshow. For about the next four hours Santa Rosa police and California Highway Patrol officers spoke with some of the people allegedly involved in the show.

Police said an estimated 100 vehicles were involved. Officers issued 49 traffic citations, towed or impounded three vehicles, made one DUI arrest, one arrest for exhibition of speed and one for a vehicle pursuit.

Police said they arrested 19-year-old Santa Rosa resident Sergio Vargas on suspicion of exhibition of speed and violating probation. Officers also arrested 18-year-old Santa Rosa resident Augustus Buschman on suspicion of DUI and reckless driving.
