Police in Pleasanton on Thursday arrested three suspects in connection with a residential burglary. Police identified the three suspects, two males, and a female, as juveniles from San Jose.

The incident also caused nearby Vintage Hills Elementary School to go on lockdown for about an hour, police said. Officers with the Pleasanton Police Department responded Thursday at 10:05 a.m. to a report from a resident of a suspicious vehicle with the engine running on Riesling Drive.

Police said the resident also reported he saw a female subject knock on the door of a neighbor’s residence while two males entered the backyard of the residence. Responding officers located one of the suspects running from the house and entering the vehicle, and the female was located already inside the vehicle.

The third suspect was located hiding in a backyard on Concord Street. The vehicle used in the burglary had been reported stolen out of San Jose, police said.
