Berkeley, California police have released surveillance video from a robbery and shooting that occurred last month.

Police responded to a report of shots fired at 9:32 p.m. on December 5, 2017, in the 1900 block of Vine Street.

They found a 32-year-old victim at Vine Street and Bonita Avenue who had been shot in the leg.

Surveillance video showed two suspects approaching the victim after he parked his car. The victim grabbed his backpack from the back seat of the car when the suspects confronted him and tried to take it.

A struggle ensued, and the victim was shot. He was dragged to the sidewalk where he was shot at two more times. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe the suspects were driving a newer model white sedan, possibly a Chevy Impala.
