Leonard Daguro Killed in San Jose on Denair Avenue

Police today identified a man who was killed last week in South San Jose as 63-year-old Leonard Daguro. On June 19 at about 1:50 a.m., officers found Daguro, a San Jose resident, unresponsive in the 2200 block of Denair Avenue after responding to a report of a man who was not breathing, according to police. Daguro was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not said how they believe Daguro died. Additionally, a motive for the killing and its circumstances remain under investigation and no suspects have been arrested, police said. Anyone with information about the Daguro’s death has been asked to call San Jose police Detective Todd Jennings or Detective Sgt. Jesus Mendoza at (408) 277-5283.
