San Bruno Police Arrest Alleged Felon in Possession of Gun at Party

A large party at a San Bruno home led officers to a man who police said was a felon in possession of a concealed firearm Thursday.

At about 11:55 p.m., officers went to the 300 block of Goodwin Drive to investigate reports of a house party with approximately 200 people in attendance, according to police.

Officers pulled over a vehicle that was “associated with the party” nearby in the 100 block of Allen Drive, police said. One of the vehicle’s occupants, 24-year-old Jermaine Lee Hicks Jr., was found with a concealed firearm and soon officers determined that he had also been previously convicted of felonies, including the illegal sale of a firearm, according to police.

Officers arrested Hicks on suspicion of several charges related to allegedly being a felon in possession of a loaded, concealed firearm.
