James Lively of Fairfield a Registered Sex Offender Arrested on Allegedly Possessing Child Pornography

Fairfield police arrested a registered sex offender Monday on suspicion of possessing child pornography on electronic devices. James Lively, 49, of Fairfield was booked in the Solano County Jail for sending and possessing explicit material, police said. The Fairfield Police Department’s Electronic Crimes Unit was alerted to suspicious activity in January and searched Lively’s residence in the 1000 block of Ohio Street, police said.

Forensic examination of electronic devices seized during the search revealed pictures and videos of minors engaged in sexual activity, police said. Lively has prior convictions for possessing child pornography and committing lewd acts on a child, police said.
