Daniel Lemos Parolee Arrested by Petaluma Police in Alleged Tablet Robbery

Petaluma police arrested a parolee on suspicion of robbing a man of his tablet device at knifepoint Sunday afternoon. Police responded to a fight between the two males at Lucchesi Park around 3:45 p.m., and the victim gave a description of the armed robbery suspect.

Police found a man who met the suspect’s description in the 100 block of Madison Street and identified him as Daniel Lemos, 23, of Petaluma, who is on active parole.

Officers located the stolen tablet and the victim later identified Lemos as the suspect, police said. He was booked in the Sonoma County Jail for robbery, violation of parole and providing false identification.
