Four Troy Police Officers Injured Trying to Arrest Suspects Caught on Video

Four Troy police officers injured in a street melee caught on video. The officers saw a fight outside a nightclub and tried to arrest the suspects. The suspects allegedly resisted arrest and attacked the officers.

Police Chief John Tedesco says his officers did their jobs.

The chief says this is how his department is going to handle situations like this.

“We’re not going to back down in the city of Troy, our officers have a job to do, and I’m going to support them to do it. If they have to execute force in force being used against them, then so be it. They’re not punching bags,” said Tedesco.
