A driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Antioch on Sunday after he turned into oncoming traffic and struck three cars, police said today. The crash at Bluerock Drive and Deer Valley Road was reported at 8:45 p.m., according to Sgt. Trevor Schnitzius. The driver was apparently attempting to make a right-hand turn from Bluerock Drive on to northbound Deer Valley Road but instead overshot the median and turned into southbound lanes, striking three other vehicles, Schnitzius said. Police arrested the driver, a man in his 40s, on suspicion of driving under the influence. Several people reported pain and one person was transported to the hospital with a complaint of pain but no visible injuries, Schnitzius said. The driver was not injured.
