A Vacaville man was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping his girlfriend and falsely imprisoning another woman this afternoon, police said. Police went to the 400 block of Buck Street in Vacaville around 2:25 p.m. where a woman said she was kidnapped against her will, Lt. Denise Quatman said.

The woman said her boyfriend Armand Bass kidnapped her at gun point at her residence on Camellia Way and took her to an apartment on Buck Avenue, Quatman said. The woman said she escaped through a bedroom window after she was held against her will for several hours, Quatman said. Police responded and contacted another female in the apartment by phone who said Bass, 29, of Vacaville, also threatened her.

A negotiator contacted Bass who agreed to leave the apartment, Quatman said. Police found a replica gun inside, Quatman said. Bass was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence and felony charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment and threatening to commit a crime resulting in death or great bodily injury, Quatman said.
