Jeffrey Williams arrested in connection with the shooting of two police officers during last week’s protests in Ferguson, Missouri. Williams was described as a regular protestor. He was on probation and had outstanding warrants. He was caught because someone wanted the reward money. A warrant at his home was serves and a .40-caliber handgun, “which has been tied to the shell casings that were recovered” at the scene of the shooting. Williams has acknowledged firing the shots but has said he wasn’t aiming at the police officers.
