The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office has released a photo of the man who is suspected of stealing jewelry from inside a department store Monday afternoon.
The theft happened around 4:15 p.m. inside the Furniture 2000 store at 777 Sebastopol Road in Santa Rosa, sheriff’s Sgt. Cecile Focha said. An employee said he and the male suspect talked about jewelry before the man showed a gun and demanded some jewelry items.
The suspect left the store with the jewelry and headed southwest, Focha said. The suspect is a Latino adult with a slight mustache and is in his mid to late 20s. He was wearing black clothing and a hat with white lettering, Focha said.
