San Jose Police Release Surveillance Video That May Help Lead to Suspect in Security Guard Murder

San Jose Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find the person who shot and killed a security guard, Manuel Zuniga over the weekend.

Detectives have released surveillance video from inside the Liquor 4 Less store just before the fatal shooting to death Zuniga. (story continues below video)

The video shows a man walking into the store and allegedly grabbing a case of cigars.

Police said on Saturday night someone tried to steal cigars from the liquor store, but dropped them in the parking lot. When Zuniga stopped to help pick them up, someone opened fire from inside a waiting car, authorities said.

Zuniga was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries a short time later.
