Napa police arrested a 42-year-old man Thursday on suspicion of raping a 14-year-old girl at the home where he lived with her parents.
Filemon Dominguez, of Napa, lived with the girl’s family for two to three years at a residence in the 500 block of Franklin Street, but he moved out three months ago after an argument with the girl’s father, Napa police Capt. Jeff Troendly said.
Dominguez allegedly sexually assaulted the girl three times while he lived with the family, and the last assault occurred in the past month or two, Troendly said.
Police officers responded to the Clinic Ole in the 1100 block of Pear Tree Lane on Oct. 22 regarding a report about child molestation, Troendly said.
The girl went to the clinic because she did not feel well, and medical staff determined she was pregnant, Troendly said. Medical staff called police when the girl said Dominguez had sexually assaulted her, Troendly said.
Dominguez was arrested in the 1600 block of Pueblo Avenue in Napa on suspicion of rape by force or fear and committing lewd and lascivious acts with a child under age 16, Troendly said.
Dominguez was booked in the Napa County Department of Corrections.
