A West Oakland building was raided this morning as police and district attorney’s investigators searched for evidence. The search warrant was served in the 800 block of 27th Street early this morning, police said. Police said there were no arrests but a district attorney’s spokeswoman confirmed this morning that charges have been filed against members of BMT International Security Services, a company formerly considered for a large contract at the Port of Oakland that was rejected in March.
BMT is headquartered at 818 27th St., a Black Muslim temple. The company’s license with the state Department of Consumer Affairs expired in July and is listed as delinquent.
