Police are investigating two burglaries at a Morgan Hill RV Center that happened in less than two weeks. Officers responded to an audible alarm at the Pan Pacific RV Center at 16695 Condit Road around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, according to police. Arriving officers searched the property where they saw a man emerge from bushes between the center and a Quality Inn, police said.

Officers attempted to contact the man but he led them on a short foot pursuit until he stopped between the Quality Inn and an Executive Inn, according to police. The man, identified as 37-year-old Joseph Luna of Morgan Hill, resisted the officers, who eventually subdued and arrested him, police said. Luna had a no bail warrant out of Morgan Hill for violating a restraining order. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, prowling under the influence of a controlled substance and two outstanding warrants.

On June 17 officers also responded to a report of a burglary at Pan Pacific RV Center around 3 a.m. when two suspects broke into multiple RVs and stole televisions, furniture and other items, according to police. Video surveillance footage at the center shows a white extended cab pickup truck, possibly a Ford Ranger, leaving the premises, police said. Detectives are investigating whether Luna was involved in the June 17 burglary, according to police.
