Pleasant Hill police are searching for a 14-year-old Walnut Creek boy who was last seen at Pleasant Hill Middle School.

Montae Brown is described as being voluntarily missing, but police consider him to be at risk due to his age, according to Sgt. Tim Frank.

Brown, who was reported missing at 4:45 p.m. today, is described as a black male juvenile with short black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 100 pounds, Frank said.

He was last seen wearing a purple Nike sweatshirt, red polo shirt and tan pants and carrying a gray camouflage backpack.

Anyone who locates him or has information on his whereabouts should call Pleasant Hill police or local police.
