Three suspects have been arrested for a strong-arm robbery of five juvenile victims aboard a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus late last month, police said today.

Denzel Anderson, 21, Lazarus Thomas, 21, and Cornelius Taylor, 24, were arrested in connection with the robbery, which occurred on Dec. 28 near Fourth and Mission streets on a Muni 14-Mission bus, according to police.

The suspects and victims were all seated on the back of the bus when the suspects demanded their property and patted down the victims after they had already handed over the contents of their pockets, police said. The suspects fled, but investigators found surveillance video that showed them fleeing and splitting up the stolen property, which included cash and cellphones, police said.

A department-wide crime alert was issued, and various officers helped identify Anderson, Thomas and Taylor as the alleged suspects, who were all arrested within days of the robbery, according to police. Each suspect was arrested on 10 felony charges — five counts each of robbery and child endangerment.
