Man Shot In The Leg During Attempted San Francisco Mission District Pharmacy Robbery

A man working at a Mission District pharmacy was shot during an attempted robbery this evening, according to San Francisco police. The robbery was reported at 6:34 p.m. in the 3600 block of Cesar Chavez Street. Two suspects approached the man and attempted to rob the pharmacy, police said. They shot the man in the leg and fled in a car driven by a third suspect. The man was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
