A Concord woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of prostitution at a Lafayette massage parlor, police said. Following numerous complaints from neighbors living next to the business, police conducted an undercover operation at the Letouch massage parlor in the 1000 block of Brown Avenue Tuesday, police said.
An undercover officer entered the business and was solicited for sex by an employee, 47-year-old Guifang Yu, according to police. Yu was arrested for alleged prostitution and taken to county jail in Martinez. The arrest comes after Lafayette police conducted a prostitution bust in June at local massage businesses Body and Sole and Classical Music Massage Center, both located in the 3300 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard, netting the arrest of three suspects.
Lafayette police say they are still focused on the issue of illicit local massage parlors. Anyone with information about illegal activities at Lafayette massage businesses is asked to contact Lafayette police at (925) 283-3680.
