* South San Francisco Trying to Solve 4 Unsolved Killings

The City of South San Francisco is trying to solve four murders of teenagers dating back to last year.

# 1  On March 23rd 2011, at about 7:30pm, Victim Ronald Figueroa was standing in front of a home on the 300 block of Lux Avenue when he was shot in the face. A possible suspect car is described as a red or
orange four-door early 2000s Honda Civic with chrome rims.

# 2 On May 4th, 2011, at about 7:30 pm, Jose Manuel Lopez was walking with walking with a friend on Hickory Place when a van pulled up and a male suspect shot him. The suspect vehicle is described as a  1990’s to 2000’s silver minivan with tinted rear windows and sliding doors on both sides. The van then fled north toward Olive Avenue.

# 3 On Dec. 22, 2010 at about 7:15 pm, Omar Cortez and Gonzalo Avalos were shot and killed on Eight Lane and Linden Avenue. The third victim died later at a hospital. A possible suspect car is described as a dark-colored early 2000s model Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows.

# 4 On Sept. 20, 2011, at about 8:50 pm, Joseph Maharaj and another teenager were shot on First Lane. Maharaj died at the hospital  and the other victim survived. The suspect car is described as a black 2004 or 2005 four-door Honda Civic or Accord.
