Jose police are searching an apartment complex for a gunman who shot a man while he was pumping gas this morning before carjacking a different person an hour later, a police spokesman said tonight. Officers are conducting a yard-to-yard search near Mabury and North King roads after police spotted a man resembling the suspect in the area. The man did something that officers believed to be a threat and officers fired shots at the man, who then fled into an apartment complex, police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.
