* Ramy Amadea Gallego Found in Southern California

An infant girl who was reported missing from her family’s home in the Contra Costa County community of Knightsen has been found safe in Southern California, a sheriff’s spokesman said today. An investigation began into the disappearance of 4 month old Ramy Amadea Gallego after her mother reported early Sunday morning that her daughter had disappeared from her bassinet at the family’s home in the 1500 block of Tule Lane.

Contra Costa County sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee said this morning that the infant has been located and is now with detectives who traveled to Southern California as part of the investigation. He did not release further details on how the girl ended up there but said the detectives are interviewing three people in connection with the case.
