Gunmen shot and killed a teenager and shot two of his family members in front of his home Friday night in Oakland, an officer said this morning. At 10:46 p.m., a 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy were in front of their home at 9432 Sunnyside St. talking to their uncle when two gunmen approached, Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason said. The suspects opened fire. The 16-year-old, Antonio Nunez Jr., was pronounced dead at the home, according to Thomason. The other two victims were transported to Highland Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition. There have been 104 homicides in Oakland this year. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should contact the Oakland Police Department’s Homicide Section.
