* Marin County Sheriff’s Deputies Need to Identify Alleged Bank Robber

ID #10-97

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify the suspect in these photos. Detective Matt Stott reports that on April 5th 2010, at 11:45 AM, this suspect allegedly robbed the Bank of Marin, located at 23 Reed Blvd in Mill Valley. According to Detective Stott this suspect appears to be the same suspect from a recent robbery in Elk Grove, California. The suspect is described as either a medium complected white male, Hispanic male, or possibly even Native American male. He is described to be anywhere between 45 to 55 years old, standing approx. 5′-7″, and a medium build. The suspect was wearing a black wig, prescription style glasses, and possibly a fake mustache. He was wearing black batting type gloves and was armed with a gun which he pulled from a black computer type bag. The suspect appears to be wearing the same outfit as he he did in the Elk Grove robbery. According to witnesses, he spoke with a slight accent which was unfamiliar to them. He was last seen fleeing the bank on foot.
