Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a Suisun City woman who has been missing since Sunday, Police Chief Ed Dadisho said at a news conference in Fairfield today. Bichphuong “Phuong” Le, 24, left her home around 4 p.m. Sunday after having a brief argument with family some members. When the family didn’t hear anything from her that night, Le’s brother went looking for her early Monday morning and found her car parked at the Barnes and Noble bookstore in Fairfield. The car was unlocked and the keys were missing, but police found Le’s cell phone, wallet and backpack inside the car, police said. Investigators were able to confirm that Le had been at the bookstore between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. before she disappeared. She is a nursing student at Solano Community College and spent most of her evenings at the bookstore studying, police said.  Dadisho said investigators have not found anyone who would want to harm Le and neither her family nor her friends know of any boyfriends or romantic issues she might have been involved in. Investigators have issued a nationwide missing persons alert for Le and are working with Fairfield police and the FBI in their efforts to find her. Police are asking anyone with information about Le’s whereabouts to contact Fairfield police at (707) 428-7300 or an anonymous tip line set up specifically for this case at (707) 428-7345. People can also call Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-STOP.
