Napa County Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Man for Alleged Heroin Sale

A 27-year-old Petaluma man was arrested for heroin sale and possession on Tuesday after an undercover drug buy, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies contacted the man, who was allegedly advertising heroin sales on Craigslist under a street name for the drug. They posed as drug buyers and agreed to meet with him in the 200 block of Soscol Avenue at 11 p.m. on Tuesday. The suspect allegedly sold the deputies heroin during the meeting.

The man, Andrew Whitman, was then arrested for possession of heroin for sale and sale of heroin and booked into Napa County Jail. Deputies said Whitman had an additional 80 doses of heroin in his possession and a digital scale used to weigh drugs.
