Larry Elisara Arrested on Suspicion of Stabbing Roommate in Neck

A man was arrested Wednesday morning in Sunnyvale on suspicion of stabbing his roommate in the neck, public safety officials said today. Larry Elisara, 35, was arrested shortly after 5:30 a.m. at a home in the 1000 block of Bryant Avenue.

Public safety officials said Elisara was arrested for allegedly stabbing his 35-year old roommate. After the stabbing, the victim ran from the home and got help from a neighbor who called 911.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. Before the alleged stabbing the two had gotten into an argument.

Public safety officials said when they arrived they found Elisara inside his home where they arrested him.

He was booked into jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
