San Jose police Release Video of Two Suspects who Robbed an Elderly Woman of her Purse

San Jose police are looking for two suspects who robbed an elderly woman of her purse last month. The victim was in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Story Road when the two suspects approached her in a Nissan Altima around 9:45 a.m. on Aug. 31. One suspect allegedly ripped the purse off of the victim after a violent struggle, police said.

She suffered injuries not considered life-threatening. Police said the suspect then ran back into the Altima that was driven by a second suspect. The suspects then drove off, police said. The suspect who stole the woman’s purse was described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 25 years old who is 6 feet 1 inch tall with a heavy build.

He was last seen wearing green and black camouflage shorts with a black T-shirt and a dark-colored baseball cap. No description of the driver of the Altima was available.
