Deshaun Graham Arrested in Connection with Assault with a Deadly Weapon in San Mateo

Police in San Mateo have arrested a man in connection with an assault with a deadly weapon incident that occurred Monday. Deshaun Graham, 26, of San Mateo, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats and child endangerment, according to the San Mateo Police Department.

Officers on Monday received a report a man with a firearm threatened a woman as she walked her grandchild in the area of the 1700 block of Monte Diablo Avenue. The victim knew the man, and the incident was related to a child custody dispute, police said.

On Wednesday around 12 a.m., police served a search warrant at residence on Fremont Street, and Graham was taken into custody.
