Drive By Shooting at People Gathered for Vigil of Another Shooting Murder Victim Caught on Camera

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Gunfire erupted as family and friends held a candlelight vigil to remember an 18-year-old who was shot and killed in 2016.

A FOX13 crew was covering the vigil when shots rang out. The shooting happened Monday night in South Memphis, near Danny Thomas and Saint Paul.

Police confirmed three people were shot. Investigators told FOX13 one victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and the other two victims were transported in non-critical condition.

No arrests have been made

The vigil was held in remembrance of 18-year-old Myneisha Johnson who was shot and killed last year in Downtown Memphis. 19-year-old Kwasi Corbin was charged in Johnson’s murder.
