A 15-year-old Richmond girl who was reported missing Wednesday morning has been found safe, according to Richmond police. The girl, who left home sometime between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Wednesday, was headed to Hercules High School but she never showed up, according to police.
“We are happy to report our detectives located (the girl) and she will be reunited with her family soon,” Richmond police said in a Facebook post at about 11:30 a.m. today.
Police originally said that the girl’s family was afraid she might have been the victim of human trafficking, but no details about her disappearance and recovery were released today.
