A home in the Coy Park neighborhood of San Jose has been surrounded by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department as it searches for an escaped inmate. Authorities have captured Rogelio Chavez, the fourth inmate who escaped from a Santa Clara County Jail back in Nov. 23, the night before Thanksgiving. Chavez has a distinctive tattoo on his left eye. One of two inmates who sawed their way out of the Santa Clara County jail and vanished last week was recaptured late Tuesday after he crashed through a ceiling while hiding from police in his sister’s attic, officials said Wednesday. Santa Clara County Undersheriff Carl Neusel said Laron Campbell, 26, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service and Antioch police. Campbell’s sister, Marcaysha Alexander, 24, was also arrested on suspicion of harboring a fugitive.
