Novato police arrested a suspected car thief Monday with the help an automated license plate reader. Edgar Corona, 24, of Novato was arrested inside a vehicle in the area of Alameda Del Prado when the license plate reader alerted police to a stolen vehicle in the area, police said. Police said officers also located evidence linking Corona to other burglaries and thefts in Novato.
