Wells Fargo Bank in Union City Robbed, Police Release Alleged Suspect Photo

The Union City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the suspect in this photo.

According to detectives, on 12/22/14 at approximately 10:02 a.m., this suspect walked into the Wells Fargo Bank located at the Union Landing Shopping Center on Courthouse Drive and produced a demand note to one of the tellers. The suspect also lifted up his shirt and displayed what appeared to be a firearm, which was partially concealed in his waistband.

Based on the suspect’s demands, the teller cooperated and provided the suspect with the requested funds. After obtaining the demanded funds from the teller, the suspect fled the Wells Fargo Bank on foot and got into a parked vehicle.

The vehicle is described to be a dark colored, four door sedan, with tinted rear windows, and was parked nearby in the Walmart parking lot.

The suspect is described as a light skinned, black male adult, in his 20’s, medium build, and was last seen wearing a yellow Pittsburgh Pirates baseball hat, a gray or light blue colored hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants and white colored tennis shoes with a tattoo of a “star” to the rear of his right ear.
