A South San Francisco man was arrested today in connection with two sexual attacks, according to police.
Michael Gallagher, 55, was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery today after two women reported being sexually approached and touched in the same parking lot in just over 24 hours, police said.
The first incident occurred Wednesday around 1:39 p.m., when a woman was loading the trunk of her ca in a parking lot in the 300 block of Oyster Point Boulevard.
She told police that a male subject approached her from behind, rubbed the front of his body against her and asked her if she wanted to have sex.
The woman was not injured and was able to drive away from the scene, police said.
A similar incident was reported at the same location today at 2:19 p.m. with a suspect matching the same description.
Police detained Gallagher, who was positively identified by both victims, and booked him into jail.
