The suspect or suspects in the third homicide in Berkeley this year are still at large, a Berkley Police Department spokeswoman said this morning. The killing took place at about 9:45 p.m. Monday in a parking lot in the 1900 block of San Pablo Avenue, said spokeswoman Jennifer Coats. Northbound San Pablo Avenue is still closed between University and Hearst avenues, Coats said.

Investigators are conducting interviews, following up on leads and examining evidence. In the shooting, one person died and another person was injured. Police did not have any information as to the condition of the injured person. Police will not be releasing the name of the deceased until after his family has been notified.

If you know the name(s) of these suspect(s) or the whereabouts of the fugitive(s).
