Santa Cruz County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who burglarized a home in unincorporated Boulder Creek last month.

Deputies said a 66-year-old San Jose resident last Wednesday reported a theft at his vacation home located in the 400 block of Band Road in Boulder Creek.

Black and white images captured by surveillance cameras outside the victim’s home showed the suspect at the home on Nov. 27, according to sheriff’s deputies.

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 35 to 45 wearing a backwards baseball cap, a light-colored T-shirt and pants.

Deputies said the victim believes the suspect is the same person who broke into his car in early November and also burglarized his home back in April 2013.

Sheriff’s officials are asking anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to call them at (831) 471-1121.
