Four juvenile suspects have been arrested for a recent carjacking near Lake Merritt in Oakland, police said today.
The car was taken in the 1900 block of Sixth Avenue on Dec. 21, according to police.
At about 9:40 a.m. last Friday, five days after the carjacking, police located the stolen car in the 6000 block of MacArthur Boulevard and detained the four juvenile suspects who were inside the vehicle, police said.
Victims and witnesses identified the suspects as being responsible for multiple strong-arm robberies, according to police.
Officers recovered some of the stolen items inside the vehicle, police said.
The suspects’ names weren’t released because they’re juveniles.
