Before 2:20pm, at the Manchester Center bus stop, the assailant was bullying a teenaged boy. That’s when 62-year-old John Medina intervened to protect the teenager. But the unnamed assailant just turned his aggression toward Mr. Medina instead.
After the man pushed him, Mr. Medina’s head hit his walker as he fell, giving him a concussion. Mr. Medina was in the hospital for open heart surgery just a month earlier. Now he has two broken vertebra and displaced collarbone as well.
