The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect in these photos.

According to detectives, on December 24th, a 66 year old San Jose resident reported to deputies that his vacation home located in the 400 block of Band Road in Boulder Creek had been burglarized by an unidentified person.

Black and white photographs of the alleged suspect had been captured by motion activated surveillance cameras on November 27, 2014 at 1:00 pm.

The suspect is believed to be a white male adult; 35-40 years old wearing a backwards baseball cap, light colored tee-shirt and pants.

After reviewing the surveillance photographs, it is believed that the suspect may have gained entry through the back door of the home. It was unknown what had been taken from the victim’s home but several dresser drawers had been rifled through.

The home owner believed the suspect to be the same person who broke into his car parked one street over in early November 2014 and burglarized his home back in April 2013.
