Newark Police Offcers Run into Burning Home to Rescue Famiy Caught on Body Cameras

2 Newark, California police officers are being hailed as heroes for running into a burning home early this morning to rescue a woman trapped inside. The officers were wearing body cameras and caught the whole thing on video. (story continued below video)

Officers Andrew Musantry and Steven Losier were among the first to arrive on the scene.

They were wearing body cameras, that started recording when they ran inside.

The smoke was thick, so the two crawled up the stairs. They ultimately spotted the resident, a 55-year-old woman, in her bedroom.

Fortunately they able to guide the woman to safety, thus saving her life.
