The San Jose Police Department has arrested Jacob Breschi and booked him into Santa Clara County Jail on multiple counts of residential burglary. Beginning in early November of 2014 to December 10, 2014, a rash of burglaries occurred in the Foothill and Southern Divisions of San Jose. Through a diligent and thorough investigative process, officers identified Breschi as a possible suspect.

Further investigation determined he was responsible for at least thirteen residential burglaries. In two of these burglaries guns were stolen from the home and in at least two incidents the victim confronted the suspect during the crime. Detectives believe Breschi might be responsible for up to seven additional burglaries.

On December 10, 2014, Officer Ryan Chan took Breschi into custody and booked him into County Jail on multiple counts of burglary. Foothill Division Captain Knox said, “This is an excellent example of the strong partnership between the San Jose Police Department and the community in combating these residential burglaries.”

Persons with information regarding the above case are urged to contact Detective Enrique Marquez of the San Jose Police Department’s Financial Crimes Unit at (408)277-4401.
