The Harris County, Texas Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking Alexander Brown on a warrant charging him with kidnapping. Deputies report that on September 23, 2014, Suspect Brown held the female victim at gunpoint and demanded that she get into her vehicle.

Inside the vehicle was the victim’s 10-month-old son.

Brown held the victim’s hostage for the night in a hotel room. The next morning, he demanded that they drop off the baby at daycare, which she complied. Brown threatened the victim and said if she tried anything he was going to go to the daycare with his gun.

Brown told her to drive to New York or he would kill her. They arrived in New York on September 25th. Brown forced the victim into a store to use a computer. After the two left the store, the victim screamed and was able to get into a cab. Brown tried to get into the cab, but the victim sprayed the suspect with pepper spray and managed to get away. She went to the nearest police station to report the crime.

He was last seen in the victims’ 2005 Forest Green colored Nissan Xterra in Queens, New York.

He is also wanted for aggravated robbery.
