A 27-year-old was arrested in a suspected home burglary Friday morning, a police sergeant said.
Officers responded to a call of a residential burglary in progress in the 300 block of Boardwalk Court shortly before 8 a.m., said police Sgt. David Kellis.
The victim told police she had just arrived home after walking her dog when she found a male suspect in her bedroom, Kellis said.
She reportedly told officers that the suspect stole property from the home and fled with the items, Kellis said.
The woman provided officers with a description of the suspect and searched the area, according to Kellis.
An officer assigned to Black Friday retail enforcement detail saw a person who matched the description, police said.
The man, identified as Dixon resident Sammy Troyer, was arrested and booked in the Solano County Jail on suspicion of residential burglary.
